After two days of running ragged with Rio in hot, humid Bangkok I was feeling super rundown. Mama and I just took the free shuttle to the beach in Sihanoukville and sat in chairs all day on the beach. I’ve been to Cambodia before and had such a great experience. I can’t say the same for this stop. There wasn’t much to it and the tourism was just too much for me. The locals are constantly badgering you, but what can you expect at a cruise ship destination. Bottom line, it was a nice beach day and I did some swimming and got a bit of color, but I will not be returning to that town. I did buy a cute woven headband, so win there.
