Lisbon, Portugal

Sunday, October 13 – Friday, October 18

A good first impression for a new city always starts with where you’re staying!  The second I stepped out on my balcony of my Lisbon Airbnb, it took my breath away!

After a rain shower, I was treated to a welcoming rainbow!

Lisbon has a really hilly terrain.  Coincidentally, it also is known for its Seven Hills, just like San Francisco!  I found it much more difficult to walk than SF, but maybe because I know it so well, I always walk with hill strategy.  In Lisbon I didn’t know what I was doing and found myself going up and down over and over.  In any given day, my Health App told me I had climbed 40-65 flights of stairs!  I was exhausted each evening!

Not a lot of method to my madness here.  A lot of the time I didn’t even know where I was so enjoy lots of beautiful buildings and views!
